Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to picksheet.i8o8.com ("PickSheet," "we," "us," or "our"), an i8o8 service. It describes information practices for the PickSheet website itself. Other sites you choose to visit, including Slate and the i8o8 support site, have their own features and may have separate privacy practices.

2. Information you provide on the printed sheet

PickSheet includes blank spaces for information such as a participant name, phone/email, pool/group, selections, and a tiebreaker. Those fields are part of the printable page only. PickSheet does not provide an online form for those fields and does not receive or store what you write on the paper after printing.

3. Information collected automatically

When you request a page, ordinary web-server and security logs may automatically record limited technical information, such as:

• IP address and approximate network information;
• date and time of the request;
• requested URL and HTTP status;
• browser or user-agent information;
• referring page, when supplied by your browser; and
• error, abuse-prevention, and security-event information.

We use this information to deliver the site, diagnose errors, maintain reliability, protect the server, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The current PickSheet application does not require user accounts and does not intentionally use non-essential cookies, third-party analytics, behavioral-advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or advertising networks. If these practices materially change, this policy will be updated and any notice or consent required by applicable law will be implemented.

5. How information is disclosed

We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Limited technical information may be processed by infrastructure, hosting, security, or support providers as necessary to operate and protect the service. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our rights, investigate security incidents, or protect users and systems.

6. Slate and other links

PickSheet is intentionally designed to promote Slate, an associated i8o8 service. If you follow a link or QR code to Slate, or open the i8o8 support site, your browser makes a new request to that destination. Information collected there is governed by the practices and policies of that destination.

7. Data retention

Technical logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for operations, security, troubleshooting, fraud or abuse prevention, backup integrity, and legal obligations. Retention can vary by log type and operational need.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect the site and information associated with its operation. No internet transmission, server, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Children

PickSheet is a general-audience sports utility and is not directed to children under 13. The site does not ask visitors to create an account or submit personal information through PickSheet. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected through a feature covered by applicable children's privacy law, we will take appropriate steps to address it.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and whether a particular privacy law applies, you may have rights concerning personal information, such as rights to access or know, correct, delete, restrict certain uses, opt out of certain disclosures, or receive equal treatment for exercising privacy rights. Because PickSheet has no user accounts and collects very little information, we may not be able to associate ordinary server-log entries with a particular person without additional information.

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act when it applies. PickSheet does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. A browser-based opt-out preference signal therefore does not change PickSheet's current advertising behavior because that behavior is not used here.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, law, or our practices change. The effective/last-updated date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page before or when they take effect, as appropriate.
